Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City and Center for Industrial Inspection II 08-07-2025

On the afternoon of July 4, 2025, the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) and the Center for Industrial Inspection II (SITES II) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting scientific research and training activities, particularly in the fields of inspection, technical analysis, and technology transfer.

Representatives from both parties signed the cooperation agreement.

In attendance from IUH were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Trung Hieu – Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Sao Mai – Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Ngoc Nam – Head of the Office of Science Management & International Cooperation, Dr. Le Ngoc Son – Director of the Institute of International and Graduate Education, along with leaders of various faculties and institutes. Representing SITES II were Mr. Vo Duy Le – Acting Director of the Center, and his associates.

At the ceremony, representatives from both sides discussed their cooperative orientations in research, training, and technological development. Specifically, IUH and SITES II agreed to jointly implement scientific research projects in the areas of inspection and technical analysis; coordinate professional activities such as faculty and research staff exchanges; and effectively share laboratory infrastructure and equipment within permitted scopes. Both parties also committed to jointly seeking and leveraging funding sources for research from domestic and international organizations. Additionally, IUH will collaborate with SITES II to organize short-term intensive training courses, leveraging both sides’ strengths in infrastructure and expert personnel.

This cooperation agreement marks an important initial step, opening up numerous opportunities for academic connection and practical application, thereby contributing to improved training quality, research, and human resource development in response to the needs of enterprises and the labor market.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Trung Hieu – Vice President of IUH, stated: “The signing of this cooperation agreement with the Center for Industrial Inspection II marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between the university and a specialized inspection unit. It not only creates opportunities to expand training and scientific research but also demonstrates a sustainable link between education and industry. This serves as a foundation for both parties to jointly develop human resources and optimize infrastructure for teaching and research."

Mr. Vo Duy Le – Acting Director of the Center for Industrial Inspection II, shared: "The Center for Industrial Inspection II is an agency under the Department of Occupational Safety and Industrial Environment – Ministry of Industry and Trade, with expertise in inspection, occupational safety evaluation, as well as specialized training and professional development. We believe that cooperation with IUH will bring practical value to both lecturers and students in research, learning, and application activities."
